Beach Road, Beach Road Interiors

This project in Redhead, NSW was a medium scale renovation project that began in early 2021.

A 1930’s beach side mining cottage that had been stripped of any architectural detail, the brief was to create a coastal cottage that restored some of the lost architectural detail and heritage aesthetic. Just inside sits beautiful high ceilings, crown moulding and ceiling roses, so we needed to marry the inside and out.

The inspiration for this renovation was the beautiful cottages you see in the Byron Hinterland region. The timeless mix of palm trees and cottage gardens, we worked to create a balance of country and coastal elements.

“The shape of the levers is a beautiful mix of a classic design with a contemporary edge.”

The Menton lever in rich Antique Brass complements the soft whites of Beach Road.

Using the Tradco Menton levers in the Antique Brass was the perfect choice to contrast against the custom made french doors which were painted in snow drop white. The shape of the levers is a beautiful mix of a classic design with a contemporary edge. We chose the skeleton key lock for a fun element and as a nod to the history of the home.

One of the main reasons that I choose to use Tradco products is the range of products and finishes. Matching the door hardware with hinges, bolts and other accessories is, in my opinion, is so important to creating a seamless finish throughout a home.

Matching the door hardware with hinges, bolts and other accessories is, in my opinion, is so important to creating a seamless finish throughout a home. Considering these details when building or renovating is so important to give your home a distinct and memorable character.

The home is now ready for the next stage of renovation and I’m sure we will be seeing more TradCo products throughout.
