A 70's beach shack has been lovingly revived using A 70's beach shack has been lovingly revived using TradCo hardware, along with a fresh injection of colour as a nod to the homes mid century roots.

“It was built in 1970 and has been in the same family up until recently when we purchased it,” says owner and designer Lara Ivachev of @eatmedo.

They fell in love with the original features of the shack; features that other buyers might have sought to replace. “I loved the simple yet classic mid-century details of the property and knew just how special it could be with a little imagination and some more vintage features,”

In this refreshed entry, thoughtful details bring the space together. Tradco’s Reims Lever is paired with matching hinges, panic bolts and door stops, creating a cohesive suite of hardware that honours the home’s traditional language while ensuring everyday function.

It’s a reminder that in restoration, it’s often the smallest architectural elements that make the greatest impact🚪

“I wanted to wholeheartedly embrace the idea of the iconic Australian beach shack and really drove that through every inch of the design and renovation.”
Lara Ivachev, @eatmedo

TradCo hardware was used to complete the vision for the shack, with pops of chrome used throughout both the kitchen, doors and bathrooms.
