Stained glass windows are among the most beautiful Stained glass windows are among the most beautiful details found in heritage homes, casting colour and character across interiors that modern materials simply can’t replicate.

When restoring them, the aim is always preservation first — carefully cleaning the glass and ensuring the surrounding timber frames are stabilised and protected.

Equally important is the hardware that allows these windows to function as they once did. Period-appropriate fasteners, stays and fittings help secure delicate frames without compromising their authenticity.

They fell in love with the original features of the shack; features that other buyers might have sought to replace. “I loved the simple yet classic mid-century details of the property and knew just how special it could be with a little imagination and some more vintage features,”

TradCo's Mid-Century Levers and Polished Chrome Hooks were against the bathroom’s flesh-pink doors. “If you didn’t know any better you’d say they were always there, which I love.”
